📋 Booking
How do I book a tour?
Browse our Tours page, choose a tour and departure date, and complete the booking form. Your booking is confirmed only once you receive written confirmation from AlaTourqo. A 50% deposit is required to secure your place.
Do I need an account to book?
An account is created automatically when you book. You can use it to track your booking, upload passport documents and submit payment notifications via the My Bookings dashboard.
What information do I need to provide at booking?
At the time of booking you provide your name, contact details and number of travellers. Full passenger details — including passport information — must be submitted via your dashboard no later than 21 days before departure. Failure to do so may prevent a passenger from joining the tour.
Are prices per person or per room?
All prices are quoted per person, based on two people sharing a room. If you are travelling solo and require a single room, a single supplement applies — this is shown clearly during booking.
Is there a child discount?
Yes. Children aged 2–12 years receive a discount on the applicable room rate. Infants under 2 travel free (no seat or bed allocated). Please state the number of children at the time of booking.
Can I book on behalf of someone else?
Yes. The person completing the booking form is the lead passenger. Details for other travellers can be added in the booking form or later via the dashboard.
Can I transfer my booking to another person?
Yes, provided written notice is given at least 7 days before departure. Both parties are jointly liable for any outstanding balance. Transfers cannot be made with fewer than 7 days remaining.
Can I change my departure date?
One free date change per booking is allowed, subject to availability, if requested at least 30 days before the original departure. Changes requested within 30 days of departure are subject to a €50 administration fee per person. A date change is not a cancellation and does not entitle you to a refund.
Will I receive a booking confirmation?
Yes — you will receive written confirmation by email after booking. Your tour voucher (proof of participation) is issued only once the full tour price has been paid. Entry to transport, accommodation and tour sites may be refused if the voucher has not been issued due to outstanding payment.
💳 Payments & Deposit
How much deposit do I need to pay?
A 50% deposit is required to confirm your reservation. The remaining 50% balance must be paid no later than 30 days before departure. If the balance is not received by this deadline, AlaTourqo reserves the right to cancel the reservation and apply cancellation charges.
What if I book within 30 days of departure?
For bookings made within 30 days of departure, full payment is required at the time of booking, regardless of payment method.
What currencies and payment methods do you accept?
All prices are in EUR (€). Bank transfer to our Enpara account is available — see Payment Info for official bank details. Please do not make any payment without first confirming details directly with our team.
Is my payment secure?
Yes. AlaTourqo will never send bank account details via email, WhatsApp from unknown numbers, or through third parties. Our official payment details are published exclusively at alatourqo.com/payment-info. If you receive payment instructions from any other source, do not pay — contact us immediately.
What do I do after making a bank transfer?
After making your transfer, please submit a payment notification via the My Bookings dashboard and upload your receipt. Payments not accompanied by a receipt notification will not be processed.
Will I get a receipt or invoice?
Yes. A payment receipt is sent to your email after each confirmed payment. You can also access all receipts from your dashboard.
↩️ Cancellation
What is your cancellation policy?
  • 30 or more days before departure: Full refund minus €250 administration fee
  • 8–29 days before departure: 50% of the total tour price refunded
  • 7 or fewer days before departure: No refund — full price is non-refundable
  • No-show: No refund
All cancellations must be submitted in writing by email or WhatsApp with your booking reference. The cancellation date is the date AlaTourqo receives your written notice.
How do I submit a cancellation?
Send your cancellation request in writing to [email protected] or via WhatsApp, including your booking reference number. The date we receive your written request determines which refund period applies.
What if AlaTourqo cancels the tour?
If AlaTourqo cancels your tour (e.g. minimum of 6 participants not reached, or force majeure), you will be offered either a full refund of all amounts paid or an alternative departure date at no extra cost. No further compensation is payable.
What counts as a "no-show"?
If you do not notify us and do not join the tour on the departure date, this is a no-show. No refund will be issued in this case.
What happens in case of force majeure?
In cases of cancellation due to natural disasters, political unrest, pandemics or other events beyond our control, we will work to offer an alternative departure date. Standard cancellation fees may be waived at our discretion.

What is included in the tour price?
All tour prices include: 4★ hotel accommodation, professional licensed bilingual guide, private air-conditioned transport, daily breakfast, and entrance fees to all listed sites.

Not included: International flights, travel insurance, personal expenses and optional activities.
What is the minimum group size?
Departures are guaranteed with a minimum of 6 participants. If a departure does not reach this number, you will be offered a full refund or an alternative date at no extra cost.
Do you accommodate dietary requirements?
Yes. Please specify any dietary requirements (vegetarian, vegan, halal, gluten-free, allergies) at the time of booking. Türkiye generally has excellent options for most dietary needs.
What level of fitness is required?
Our tours involve moderate walking on uneven or cobbled terrain at some sites. There are no strenuous hikes. Any medical conditions or accessibility needs must be disclosed in writing at the time of booking.
Can I request a custom or private tour?
Absolutely. Use the Custom Tour page to send us your requirements — destinations, group size, dates and budget. We will respond with a personalised proposal within 24 hours.
✈️ Travel Tips
Do UK / EU citizens need a visa for Türkiye?
Most EU citizens can enter Türkiye visa-free for up to 90 days. UK citizens require an e-Visa, obtainable at evisa.gov.tr. Always check the requirements for your specific nationality before travel.
What currency should I bring?
The local currency is the Turkish Lira (TRY). EUR and USD are widely accepted at tourist sites. ATMs are widely available and card payments are common throughout Türkiye.
Is travel insurance required?
Travel insurance is strongly recommended. We advise a policy covering medical expenses, trip cancellation and personal belongings. AlaTourqo cannot be held responsible for costs arising from the absence of adequate insurance.
What should I pack?
A detailed packing list is included with your booking confirmation. Essentials: comfortable walking shoes, light layers for evenings, a scarf or shawl for mosque visits, sunscreen and a reusable water bottle.
What is the best time to visit Türkiye?
April–June and September–October offer the most comfortable temperatures and fewer crowds. July–August are peak season with very high temperatures (35°C+). AlaTourqo runs tours from April through October.
